Rhodes College Gay Straight Alliance

The Rhodes College Gay Straight Alliance seeks to create an atmosphere of acceptance and respect for all students, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, and to promote an awareness of sexuality and gender issues on this campus through education and activism. We hope to provide a community of friendship and support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning students, as well as a forum for the discussion of issues relating to gender, sexuality, and the GLBT community. Our membership is composed of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members of various sexual orientations, ethnic backgrounds, and religious communities, including many straight allies.
